Souter Lighthouse sits atop the steep cliffs and rocky terrain of the South Tyneside coast. This rugged coastline, sculpted by the surging surf of the North Sea, is perfect for an adventure. Exploring the rocks, the water, the reefs and the caves - that's first class coasteering! Things you might expect to tackle (tidally dependant of course) are:
- Steep sandstone cliffs
- Deep caves
- Offshore rocky reefs
- Rockpools, gullys and shoots
- Jumps into the sea
Our partnership with the National Trust means you can make use of the facilities at Souter Lighthouse before and after your activity. These include toilets, cafe and a museum.
See the calendar below for live availability.
