Our terrain takes in the rocky shores of Brown's Bay and Table Rocks, long feared by mariners for their big seas and surging surf. After hundreds of years of big waves the rocky shore has been left cracked and broken, making ideal terrain for a coastal adventure like no other. Highlights of this route may include (tidal dependant):
- The wreck of the Zephyros in Brown's Bay
- Brown's Lagoon - a sandy bottomed lagoon in middle of Brown's Bay
- Crab Island Wall - a vertical wall that rises from the deep creating surging surf and swirling currents to play in
- The Kelp Forests
- Caves between Longsands and Cullercoats Bay
- Smugglers caves on Cullercoats Beach
- The famous Cullercoats Pier jump
