Join our regular Wednesday night SUP club and start paddleboarding this summer. We’ll explore sea and inland water and down the coast every Wednesday night, picking up skills, trading tips and enjoying the coast. Our main venue is Cullercoats, but we’ll be visiting new beaches and shorelines too.
How does it work? SUP Club is open to anyone who has had at least one paddleboarding lesson and mastered the basics. You’ll paddle as often as you like, picking up tips from other boarders and the coaches as you go, but mostly just enjoying paddleboarding on the North Sea. Each session is accompanied by a qualified coach.
When and where is it? Every Wednesday night in summer. Normally we meet between 18.00 and 18.30 at Cullercoats Bike & Kayak for about 1.5-2 hours paddling.
Who can come? SUP Club is for adults and parent-accompanied over 14s.
What’s the cost? Sessions cost just £15 for each session you attend, that includes your kit hire. It's just £5 to attend if you have your own SUP and wetsuit, ideal if you're looking to paddle with others in Cullercoats.
SUP Club On Tour!
During summer we'll be heading off in search of new waters to explore on Wednesday evenings. We of course supply all the equipment and our usual instructor team, so you just need to get yourself to the start point with swimwear and a towel. If transport is an issue, let us know as we can help arrange a lift share. Note: these events are only open to those who have previously attended SUP club or Junior SUP club, this ensures we have confident paddle boarders on the water. Upcoming trips are:
- Wed 8 August, 6.30pm: Hexham (River Tyne)
- Wed 29 August, 6.30pm: Warkworth & Amble (River Coquet)
If you need to use our equipment, book as a regular. Please only book a pro session if you are bringing all your own kit.
