Kids Clubs: FAQs for parents

Extreme rockpooling

We know what kids are like, they like to get wet, let off some steam and try new things, that's what Kids Club is all about. Our professional instructor team will be guiding your child throughout the activity. We’ll be helping them to understand their environment and how to experience it sustainably. We’ll support them if they’re facing any fears and help grow their confidence. We’ll help them assess risks and learn new skills, creating lasting memories and experiences.

Do I have to provide a parental consent form?

Yes, we need one for each child who participates on their first session of the year. You can download it here.

What kit do I pack for my child?

YOU bring:

  • Swimwear
  • Towel
  • Old shorts (to wear on top of wetsuit)
  • Old closed-toe trainers with a solid sole (aqua shoes/crocs are not allowed)

CBK provide:

  • 5mm wetsuit
  • Buoyancy aid
  • Helmet
Can my child wear their own wetsuit?

Yes, if it's a 5mm surfing wetsuit. If it's a thinner supermarket suit, we like to provide one of ours. The thin suits are fine for short sessions in the water, but they won't keep your child warm for a 90 min kids club session.
