Welcome to the heart of Cullercoats! Join us to celebrate a Centenary since the last Cullercoats Festival of 1924! We will celebrate all the incredible facets of our coastal haven in one unforgettable day. Join us as we enjoy the beauty of our beach, engage in shore and water sports, ignite our creativity with arts and crafts, dance to the rhythms of traditional music, immerse ourselves in poetry and our fishing heritage, and savour the local flavours of food and drink.
Cullercoats Festival is a testament to the unity and richness of our community. Let's come together and make each day a celebration of all that Cullercoats has to offer.
What’s on at CBK during the festival?
CBK Adventures will be supporting Cullercoats Festival throughout the day both on land and at sea!
Our Cullercoats Hub will have pop-up shops inside, music and the wonderful Tim Sokell Lettering with free calligraphy demos where you can even try your hand at some fancy penmanship.
Our coaching team will be in Cullercoats Bay with kayaks and SUP’s offering 45 minute taster sessions on the water plus a super fun SUP Relay Race across the bay! We’ll finish up supporting Cullercoats Watch House in an old Cullercoats tradition in the form of the Heaving Stick Competition with the "Joe Robinson Challenge Cup" - a real throw-back (or forward)!
