I been kayaking for over 25 years on rivers, sea and surf. Recently I became a 4* surf leader and I have my Advanced White Water Safety certificate too. I enjoy the surf more and like introducing people to the sport. I am a key organiser of the Tynemouth Surf Kayak Open . My favourite things about the local coast are plenty of surf and plenty of places for a beer afterwards.
