Awesome kids parties are our speciality. We have tons of games and activities up our sleeves to ensure they have a great time on the water. We can accommodate groups of up to 32 kids at any one time. Our activities are best suited to kids aged 7+.
What activities do we offer?
It's your day so we will help you build it exactly as you want it. Usually the kids will get ready and do about 1.5 hours of on-water activity, so the whole event is around 2.5 hours, plus any time spent warming up in The Snug. Our activities include:
- Coastal Cycling
- Stand Up Paddleboarding
- Body Boarding
Kayaking and paddleboarding can be mixed into one session. Coasteering, body boarding and cycling are stand alone activities. Sessions can include exploring the harbour, a games session, team-building activities or a mix of everything. When the kids are all done (and worn out) we can head back to Cullercoats Bike & Kayak for birthday cake and party food in The Snug (additional charges apply).
What equipment is supplied?
Everyone gets kitted up here in Cullercoats. For water based activities we supply wetsuits and buoyancy aids for the kids to wear. For cycling we supply a bike and helmet. We also supply helmets when necessary for the activity. All of our kayaks and paddleboards are from premium brands like Tootega and JP Australia. Our cycles are sourced from The Cycle Hub in Newcastle.
How do we look after the kids' safety?
Our professional and qualified instructors will be working with the kids on the water to make sure the activity is a safe as possible. These guys and gals hold all the necessary qualifications including first aid, CRB/DBS checks and qualifications from their sport's National Governing Body. What preparation is required?
All we need in advance is for the parents of each child to read and sign the parental consent form, you can download this here. This form tells them all about what the sessions involve, what they need to bring on the day and also how they can get in touch with us. Please bring signed copies for each child on the day, plus all the required equipment listed. This is essential to allow their participation.
How much does it cost?
Our rates include your chosen activities plus one hour of room hire in The Snug to follow.
- Base Rate: £155 for up to 8 kids
- Additional Places: £19.50 per person
Food & Drink: Self service hot and cold drinks are available for purchase in The Snug. You are welcome to bring your own party food, but please don't forget your paper plates, napkins and cutlery too.
